Damrak, a former canal filled in between 1845 and 1883, is a central Amsterdam street running south from Centraal Station to Dam Square. It's the main route from the train station to the city center, lined with cultural centers, cafes, artisan shops, and museums. Dam Square is located at the intersection of Damrak and Rokin.
