
The travertine-clad, two-story Los Angeles County Art Institute, located at Wilshire Boulevard and Park View Street, featured a colonnaded loggia. Founded in 1917 through a land donation by General Harrison Gray Otis, the Otis Art Institute expanded in 1939 and was renamed Los Angeles County Art Institute in 1946.
