An aerial 1958 northeast view of the Tidewater Oil Co. building (later Getty Oil/Harbor Building) at 4201 Wilshire Boulevard shows Wilshire and 6th Street diagonally traversing the image. Designed by Claude Beelman and Associates, with Bethlehem Pacific and C.L. Peck Construction and Realty Co. contributing, the white marble structure replaced an estate once owned by William Jenkins and featured in "Sunset Boulevard."
