The church has a new copper roof, tower, and flèche. The facade is repaired, except for the nave's front, which needs some paintwork. New drainage has been installed around the building. Behind the church is an arched wall with Stations of the Cross. The church also has renovated access stairs. Built by Octavian Broggio of Litoměřice, funded by Anna Maria Franziska of Tuscany, the church was expanded and renovated in a neo-Baroque style between 1864 and 1865 (both side aisles). The Stations .. Read more »of the Cross were erected in 1807. The last mass was held in 1961, after which the church deteriorated, leading to a demolition order in the late 1980s. All furnishings were destroyed. Mgr. Marcel Hrubý, the current parish administrator in Srbská Kamenice, took charge and organized repairs between 1989 and 1991. Further renovations took place in 1996-1997 (new furnishings and Stations of the Cross were consecrated on July 19, 1997) and in 2013, largely thanks to Mgr. Hrubý. The church belongs to the church; in 2015, it will receive 600,000 CZK from the Czech-German Future Fund for repairs.
