
The Ambassador Hotel, a grand 500-room establishment designed by Myron Hunt, stood on Wilshire Blvd from 1921 to 1989. Once a prominent landmark amidst growing skyscrapers, the hotel, situated on nearly 24 acres, hosted numerous Hollywood luminaries, world leaders, and U.S. Presidents from Hoover to Nixon.
