Kroon en Hecks Lunchroom was located on Rembrandtplein, a central square in Amsterdam. Originally called Botermarkt (Butter Market) due to the market held there from 1669, it was renamed in 1876 after the painter Rembrandt van Rijn. Following World War II, Rembrandtplein became a nightlife hub with numerous cafes, shops, and hotels. The square also boasts Europe's largest LCD screen.
