Finials damaged in the 1994 Northridge earthquake are being removed from the First Congregational Church of Los Angeles at 540 S. Commonwealth Ave. This historic cultural monument #706, designed by Allison and Allison, was built in 1930-1931. Photographed January 18, 1994.
