The main thoroughfare of the 1984 Olympic Village at the University of Southern California housed athletes, four to a room. While some found the accommodations cramped, others, particularly local athletes, chose to stay in their own homes. The photo is from July 13, 1984. Additional Olympic Villages were situated at UCLA and UCSB.
