The nave, built of stone, was demolished, while the rock-hewn presbytery remains, with some sections rebuilt. Originally a pseudo-Romanesque, single-nave chapel built on a scenic viewpoint about half a kilometer south of the settlement after 1800 on the site of a rock-hewn hermitage.
