Mírkov, chapel of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary, chapel windows, 1975


The nave of the chapel was destroyed, but the rock-hewn presbytery remains. The presbytery walls have been partially rebuilt. Originally a single-nave pseudo-Romanesque chapel built on a scenic viewpoint about half a kilometer south of the settlement, it replaced a hermitage carved into the rock after 1800.
