Mírkov, Chapel of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary, 1975


The nave of the chapel, built against a sandstone cliff, was demolished in 1977, leaving only the rock-hewn presbytery standing. The presbytery walls have been partially rebuilt. Originally a single-nave pseudo-Romanesque chapel built around 1800 on the site of a hermitage, it was located in a scenic spot about half a kilometer south of the settlement.
