Mirošovice, Church of St. Lawrence, 1935-1960

New copper roof, flèche removed. Paintwork needs patching in places. - Churchyard wall repaired. - Church built by Princess von Lobkowitz, née Countess Poppelin von Lobkowitz, heiress to the estates of Bílina, Libčeves and Mirošovice. In 1708, when the church was consecrated, it housed an altarpiece of St. Lawrence, attributed to Petr Brandl or his school. - The village chateau is abandoned and dilapidated, its roof damaged (only the tower has a new roof).
