Monk, Chapel of the Ascension of the Lord, 1935


A large, pseudo-Gothic chapel with a rectangular nave, a five-sided presbytery, and a small tower above the western facade. The nave had a flat ceiling and a gallery supported by two columns in the western part. The presbytery was vaulted with a rib vault. Located on the right side of the road towards the border, after a left-hand curve, it stood near a war memorial which remains. The site (plot 538) where the chapel stood belongs to the church.
