Late Gothic monastery church of the White Magdalenes, Augustinian Order, built in the late 15th century. Burned down in 1515, re-consecrated October 20, 1515. In 1756, Johann Gottfried Schmidl bequeathed funds for a new church, which remained unfinished after the order's dissolution. Damaged by fire in 1769, the Church of the Seven Joys of the Virgin Mary was rebuilt by the Magdalenes, completed in 1774. The monastery was dissolved in 1782. The Piarist order occupied the church and buildings f.. Read more »rom 1783 to 1876. Baroquized in the late 18th century. Single-nave, oriented structure with oblong nave and pentagonal presbytery. Exterior walls articulated by pilasters. Interior had a flat vault. Remnants of a late Gothic gallery remain in the west. A late Gothic portal (1520-1530) is in the north wall. Furnishings were primarily 18th century. The main altar (late 18th century) was temporarily housed at Jezeří Castle; the altarpiece, "Nativity" by Ignác Raab (1715-1787), is in the Most District Museum. Frescoes by Jan Václav Tschöpper (1728-1810) were whitewashed in 1959 when the Orthodox Church took over. Demolished in 1972.
