Bridge, Church of St. Lawrence and St. Francis of Seraphina, 1971

Originally a Baroque monastery church, this single-nave oriented structure featured a narrow nave and elongated, pentagonal presbytery, both vaulted and frescoed by J. V. Tschöpper (mid-18th century) and F. J. Duchoslav (late 19th century). The 18th-century Baroque furnishings were crafted by J. A. Dietz, F. M. Voget, Ignatz Raab, and stonemason Martin Hennevogel. Renovations from 1716 to 1722 were followed by another fire in 1723, which spared the vaulting and most furnishings. An 1820 fire prompted reconstruction, completed in 1842, with minor work continuing into the late 19th century. The church and monastery were demolished in 1977.
