A church, possibly dating back to 1000, was documented between 1379-1385. A late Baroque replacement, built by Ondřej Kreps near the original site around 1751-1754 for Count de Sverts-Špork, featured a single nave, recessed presbytery with a semicircular apse, and lower annexes. The mostly contemporary furnishings (post-1750) included a Rococo main altar with angels and statues of Saints Adalbert and Procopius (its altarpiece was damaged), a Rococo altar of Our Lady of Sorrows, and an early Baroque (2nd half of the 17th century) altar of Saint Barbara with portal columns, strapwork ornamentation, relief carvings, statues of bishops, and smaller statues of Saints Barbara, Catherine, and Michael (its altarpiece, from an older church, was also damaged). A Rococo pulpit with gilded Rococo details was crafted by Matzke in 1770. The 14th-century Gothic bell tower survives in damaged condition. Only overgrown ruins beside the cemetery remain of the church, which stood on a beautiful vantage point. The land belongs to the Office for State Representation in Property Affairs.
