A church, possibly dating back to 1000, was documented between 1379-1385. A late Baroque replacement, built by Ondřej Kreps around 1751-1754 for Count de Sverts-Špork, stood near the original. The 14th-century Gothic bell tower survives, albeit damaged. The single-nave church was rectangular, without a tower, featuring a recessed, semi-circular apse and lower annexes. Furnishings, mostly post-1750, included a Rococo main altar with angels and statues of Saints Adalbert and Procopius (its painting was damaged). A Rococo altar of Our Lady of Sorrows, and an early Baroque (2nd half of the 17th century) altar of St. Barbara with portal columns, auricular ornamentation, reliefs, and statues also featured (its painting, from an older church, was also damaged). Matzke crafted the 1770 Rococo pulpit. Only overgrown ruins beside the cemetery remain of the church, which stood on a scenic vantage point.
