After the events of January 20, 1990, the victims of the tragedy, as well as those killed in the Karabakh war, were buried in Nagorny Park, and the monument to Kirov was dismantled. In the premises of the former Druzhba restaurant, on the site where the monument stood, it is planned to open a Museum of Freedom.
