On the left is the fence of the cathedral, in the center is Mukhtarov Palace, also known as the Club. Currently, this beautiful Baku building houses the Palace of Happiness, the city's wedding registry. The knight figure (visible above the corner of the building) is one of Baku's symbols. Built in the French Gothic style, the palace has been known as Mukhtarov Palace since its construction, named after its owner, the prominent oil industrialist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, Murtuza Mukhta..
