nýřany-synagogue-after-burning

The synagogue, a classical building constructed in the late 19th century, was burned down by the Nazis on Kristallnacht (November 10, 1938). The remaining walls were demolished in 1939. Today, a small park with benches and trees occupies the site, with no marker commemorating the synagogue.
