
Besides the famous "Night" fountain, Gurzuf Park boasts another remarkable one called "Rachel," erected in 1890 by the resort's founder, P.I. Gubonin. The fountain's creator remains unknown. It depicts the biblical story of Jacob and Rachel from the Book of Genesis, where Jacob falls in love with Rachel at a well.
