Postcard set "100 Years of Vitebsk". The main building of the Vitebsk Veterinary Academy, originally the Land Bank, a notable example of Art Nouveau architecture from the early 20th century, housed the academy, founded in 1924 as the Veterinary Institute. Previously, the site held the Vitebsk Higher Agricultural College (est. 1921), a veterinary museum, and a bacteriological laboratory (est. 1913).
