Aleksandr Hrykoŭski (1893, Kornina, Bielsk County – March 13, 1919, Grodno) graduated from a teachers' seminary in Panevėžys and Belarusian teacher training courses in Svislach. From 1916 he lived in Grodno and taught at the first Belarusian school. In late 1918 and early 1919, he was a member of the Vilnius Belarusian National Committee, the Committee of National Revival of Belarus, the Grodno administration, and the Grodno temporary city committee. He was the first chairman of the Grodno Belarusian National Committee. On January 22, 1919, he signed, on behalf of the Grodno Belarusian National Committee, the minutes of the meeting of the Committee for the convocation of the Regional Belarusian Congress of the Grodno region. He died of tuberculosis and was buried at the expense of the Belarusian People's Republic government in a Grodno cemetery.
